Top Charity Auction - All Steps Needed
TOP CHARITY is not a one-time event, but a twelve-month process. Preparations for each edition begin a year in advance. The Artistic Council curates a selection of artworks to be auctioned, carefully choosing artists from both the Polish scene and the international art market. This is a conscious and responsible choice: one that responds to current collecting trends, yet above all builds quality and establishes the event’s global standing
Goal and Achievement
Every decision — from the selection of artists to the presentation of the works — serves one goal: to create an event that combines the highest artistic standards with real social impact. Thanks to the consistent commitment of the organizers, works auctioned at the TOP CHARITY Auction regularly achieve record results, including PLN 6,800,000 for Torso alatoby Igor Mitoraj in 2024, PLN 3,200,000 for a work by Nikola Vudrag in 2023, and EUR 720,000 (approx. PLN 3,000,000) for a sculpture by Pablo Atchugarry in 2025 — confirming that art can move, inspire, and transform reality at the same time.
Concept
Each year, a new overarching concept is developed, defining the aesthetic of the entire evening. It shapes the scenography, costumes, choreography, and artistic direction of the event. From the first sketches to the final execution, a cohesive world of symbols, light, movement, and music is created. Elements of the scenography are stored and reused in subsequent editions, gaining new life and allowing the highest aesthetic standards to be combined with environmental responsibility and conscious resource management.
TOP CHARITY welcomes more than 500 guests — leading figures from the worlds of business, culture, art, and philanthropy, arriving from Poland and abroad. International stars and distinguished artists perform on stage, while the musical and artistic setting builds the emotional atmosphere of the entire evening. Every element — from the guests’ arrival to the final hammer fall — is designed to create an unforgettable experience.
Our standard
To ensure the TOP CHARITY ball takes place at this level, hundreds of specialists — from designers, technical directors, and producers to seamstresses, makeup artists, chefs, sommeliers, and waitstaff — work on it for many months. During the event itself, a team of several hundred professionals oversees its execution, requiring precise coordination and synchronization. It is a collective effort of experts from many fields, united by a shared vision and the highest standards of excellence.
The culmination of a year’s preparation is the auction — dynamic, charged with emotion and anticipation. Supported by advanced technologies and delivered within a refined visual and musical setting, it becomes the moment where art meets philanthropy, and aesthetics translate into tangible support.
